How to Import Your Mira or Inito Readings Into Veya

Take a screenshot of your monitor chart, upload it in the Veya web app, check the readings against the image, and save them next to your cycle, sleep and mood.

If you use a Mira or Inito monitor, your hormone numbers live in the monitor's own app. That's fine for reading a single cycle, but it makes it hard to see how your LH, estrogen and progesterone readings line up with your sleep, your mood and the symptoms you logged. Veya can now read those numbers from a screenshot, so you don't have to retype them.

This guide covers what to screenshot, the steps in the web app, and what to check before you save.

What does the import do, and what doesn't it do?

You choose "Mira chart screenshot" or "Inito chart screenshot" and upload an image of the monitor app. Veya reads the LH, E3G and PdG values for each cycle day, plus FSH where your app shows it. It then shows your screenshot next to the readings it found so you can check them. Once you save, the readings go into your hormone history, next to your cycle, sleep, mood and symptoms.

It is not an Apple Health sync. Apple Health has no field for an LH, E3G or PdG concentration, so there's nothing to sync to.[1][2] We explain that in more detail in our posts on Mira and Apple Health and Inito and Apple Health.

Which screenshot should you take?

A clear picture means fewer edits later, so it is worth a minute here.

Inito: open the table (list) view and screenshot that. It shows exact values for each day. Inito's line charts work too, but Veya has to estimate the values from the lines, so expect to correct more of them.

Mira: open your chart with the numbers showing and screenshot one cycle at a time. If a cycle runs past one screen, take two screenshots and import them one after the other.

Both: crop out your name, email or account details before you upload. Veya keeps the screenshot until you delete it, so it's worth keeping it tidy.

How do you import on the web?

  1. Go to app.myveya.com/import and sign in. You'll also find it under Lab results.
  2. Pick "Mira chart screenshot" or "Inito chart screenshot" from the list of import types.
  3. Choose your screenshot file, or drag it into the box.
  4. Wait for Veya to read it. You'll land on the review screen.
  5. Check the readings against your screenshot (more on that below), fix anything that's off, and save.

What about the iPhone app?

The iPhone app gets the same import in an upcoming update. Until then, use the web app at app.myveya.com/import.

How do you check the readings against your screenshot?

The review screen puts your screenshot beside the numbers Veya read, one row per cycle day. Scan down the column and compare. Three things are worth checking: the cycle day dates, any value where a decimal point may have slipped, and days where the monitor app showed no reading, since a blank should stay blank.

If something is wrong, edit the value right there. Nothing is saved until you confirm, so you can take your time.

Where do your readings go?

Saved readings are stored as monitor readings: ng/mL for E3G, µg/mL for PdG, and mIU/mL for LH and FSH. They're kept separate from the urine metrics that come from lab panels, which use a creatinine-adjusted unit. That separation matters because the two are measured differently, and Veya doesn't blend them.

In your hormone history they sit beside your logged cycle, sleep, mood and symptoms, so you can look at a surge day and see how you slept before it and how you felt after. Our health patterns page shows how those signals line up across a cycle. What the numbers mean for you is a question for you and your clinician. Veya shows you the record.

What isn't supported yet?

PDF exports, photos of ovulation test strips, and screenshots from Oova, Proov and Clearblue aren't supported yet. If you use one of those, you can still log a result by hand. Our Mira vs Inito vs Premom comparison covers how the monitors differ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an Apple Health sync?

Not at all. Apple Health has no place to store LH, E3G or PdG concentrations, so nothing is read from or written to it for these values. You upload a screenshot and Veya reads the image.

What if a value is wrong?

Fix it on the review screen, where your screenshot sits next to the readings. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Which Inito view should I screenshot?

The table (list) view, because it shows exact values. Line charts are read approximately.

Does it work with Premom, Oova, Proov or Clearblue?

Not yet. Mira and Inito are the two supported today.

Is my screenshot kept?

It's kept until you delete it, so crop out your name or account details before you upload.
